How to fix shoes with detached soles at home.
- Clean and dry The surface is peeling (both the body and the base), scrape off any old, peeling glue.
- Apply specialized adhesive. (Use barge or strong glue) on both sides — DO NOT use super glue (502).
- Let the glue set. Press the two sides together after a few minutes following the instructions.
- Press tightly Use clips/rubber bands or a heavy object, and let it dry for 24 hours.
- Clean the edges of the adhesive. Keep it simple, no extras.
